Ivan Fijolić
PhD. Art, Sculptor
Zagreb, Croatia

/1/ Art that steps off the pedestal and enters the public space.
Ivan Fijolić is an academic sculptor whose work moves beyond gallery walls and enters into dialogue with history, everyday life, and collective memory. His sculptures pose questions, provoke reactions, and often make us smile — but never leave us indifferent.

/2/ A Presence That Shapes Space and Discourse
Fijolić’s sculptures inhabit public spaces and galleries — but also collective consciousness — as visual essays that speak of identity, society, and the myths of our time. His artistic oeuvre includes over 30 solo and more than 50 group exhibitions in Croatia and abroad, as well as a number of awards and recognitions for his innovative contribution to contemporary sculpture. Each of his forms opens a space for dialogue — between past and present, the personal and the universal.
